Grades 5-6 Book Club: Anne of Green Gables
The November Grades 5-6 Book Club will be held on Wednesday, November 15 at 3 p.m. We will be reading Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery.
"Anne, an eleven-year-old orphan, is sent by mistake to live with a lonely, middle-aged brother and sister on a Prince Edward Island farm, and proceeds to make an indelible impression on everyone around her."

Slackwater String Band
Slackwater String Band is a folk music trio featuring Mike Fischman, Ed McGuirl and Tom Perrotti. The band plays an eclectic acoustic mix including originals, Old Time and Celtic tunes, Country Blues, and its own take on Jamaican music called AmeriMento. All three members play a variety of acoustic string instruments with a bit of concertina and tin whistle in the mix. Slackwater String Band is the house band of Common Fence Music.
