Friends of the Library Program: Western Stars

A concert by the band "Western Stars." This event, sponsored by the Friends of the Library, will take place at St. Matthew's Church.

Western Stars is a Rhode Island based Western Swing band. Bob Wills, Bob Dylan, Hank Williams, jazz standards and anything else could show up in a performance. Formed in 2015, the band makes its home at The Parlour in Providence playing an early 6-9 show every first Friday of the month. 

Registration is required. Limit of 50 at St. Matthew's Church.

Closed for Christmas

The library will be closed on Friday, December 25 and Saturday, December 26 for the Christmas holiday. We will be closed on Monday, December 27 for staff CPR and first-aid training. We will re-open on Tuesday, December 28 at 10:00 a.m.

Tarantulas for Halloween!

Join Laura Ferrick and her eleven tarantulas on Monday, October 18, at 6:00 PM via Zoom. Learn about each tarantula's personality and physical attributes. Laura will share information on each genera and species. Stay connected for a Meet and Greet with her friends!
